Adventure Day Camp

Every day is an adventure in this always different and exciting camp for children ages 7 to 11. Each week campers will take two field trips, most field trips will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other days campers play sports and games outside in the park and playground, or in the gymnasium. Craft projects are also a part of Adventure Day Camp. Theme Fridays occur weekly.

Campers are provided with a special T-shirt to wear on field trip days. On some field trip days, lunch is provided. Campers are provided with an afternoon healthy snack daily by staff.

Extended AM and PM care is offered for an additional fee. Camp fee includes a T-shirt, snacks, events and field trips.

Monday to Friday · 9AM to 5PM · June 10 to August 16, 2019 · Meineke Recreation Center.

Extended Care is available from 8 to 9AM and 5 to 6PM for campers enrolled in the Monday to Friday camp.

Camp Requirements

It is important to bring a school bag each day to camp. Camp will swim most afternoons in Meineke Pool and on non-field trip days. The following supplies need to be brought to camp each day:

  • Towel, swimsuit and flip-flops/sandals
  • A labeled bottle of water
  • Gym shoes
  • Sack lunch and drink (unless stated otherwise on the trip calendar) with child’s name on it
  • Sunscreen (SPRAY if possible) of 15 or 30 SPF. Have your child’s name on their bottle. Parent/guardian must sign the release form in order for staff to apply sunscreen on child.
