The Schaumburg Park District plans to build an off-leash dog park at Copley Park, 120 E. State Parkway, Schaumburg.
Earlier this year the Schaumburg Park District and the Village of Schaumburg applied for and was successful in recieving a "Green Infrastructure Grant" from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
Schaumburg Park District will have an open house for 2013 playground renovations from 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 19 at the Jerry Handlon Administration Building, 235 E. Beech Drive. The parks that will be renovated are Bock Park, Freedom Park, and Golf and Knollwood Park. Parks staff will have plans and be available to answer questions regarding these park renovations.
