Celebrate Earth Day while deepening your connection to the Earth with birdhouse building, wildflower plantings, worm composting demonstrations, seed bomb-making and launching, crafts, a live hawk and owl display, face painting, and much more! Be sure to also visit Heritage Farm to learn about beekeeping, heirloom gardening, and other traditional ways of living simply and sustainably.
Activities are for the whole family! Admission is paid at the event. Children 2 and younger are free. Parking is available at the Nature Center or St. Matthew Church. A tractor-drawn wagon ride will be available to transport you between the Nature Center and Heritage Farm. Sponsored by the Spring Valley Nature Club.
