Reservations, Cancellations & Fees

Environmental Education Programs

Reservations MUST be made at least two weeks in advance. The cost for all programs is $7 per student, with a minimum charge per group of $105. Payment is expected on the day of the program. Checks should be made to the Schaumburg Park District. A picnic shelter or lunchroom is available at no extra charge, but reservations must be made at the time the program is scheduled.

Heritage Farm Programs

Reservations MUST be made at least two weeks in advance. Fees vary by program:

  • Proper Home for Henrietta - $6/student ($90 minimum)
  • Farms & Foods - $7/student ($105 minimum)
  • Hands on History - $7.50/student ($112.50 minimum)
  • Custom Programs for Scouts or Home School Groups - $5-$6/student based on the length of the program

Outreach Programs

All outreach program fees are $125 per class for a one-hour program. Programs included a variety of hands-on activities and topics correlated with Illinois State Learning Standards and the National Education Science Standards. The maximum class size for any program is 30 students.

Scout Programs

Scout programs may be scheduled daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. when staffing and programming space are available. The length of time and number of sessions vary with badge. All reservations require two weeks notice. Certain programs that have nighttime requirements may be scheduled after sunset.
