Our triathlon is back on Sunday, July 30 with a multisport race consisting of swimming, cycling, and running! The Triathlon is sponsored by Ascension Illinois. Special thanks to the Village of Schaumburg!
The race begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Meineke Recreation Center pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Check-in, chip assignment and pick-up, and body-marking will start at 5:15 a.m. in the gym.
The triathlon consists of a 400-meter swim, 12.8-mile bike ride and a 5K run. The race is chip-timed, includes one transition area and ends at Meineke Recreation Center. Several age divisions will be available for ages 15 and older.
“We're excited for the return of our triathlon,” said Heather Simross, aquatics and fitness supervisor. “Athletes put in tremendous amounts of training and it is amazing to see them test their endurance!”
ANSI helmets are required when biking. All participants will receive a technical T-shirt and a special finisher’s medal. Division medals are grouped by age (we reserve the right to combine age groups with low registration).

Entries are limited to the first 650 participants to register. All participants must complete an official race registration form, available upon registration. No refunds will be granted and entries are non-transferable.
