Schaumburg Park District’s indoor water park, The Water Works, will begin offering open swim times starting Saturday, Sept. 12.
Open swim will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays in 1.5-hour time slots at 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Between each time slot, staff will clean high-touch areas. To allow for social distancing, admission capacity is limited to 50 patrons per time slot.
Reservations are required and will be available starting the Monday prior to the reservation date. Passholders should call 847-490-2505 to make a reservation. Resident non-pass holders may make a reservation here (admission is $7 per person).
The Water Works is located inside the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. The facility features a zero-depth aquatic playground for children, two water slides, a full-size lap pool and diving boards.
