Meineke Pool Opens July 10 | Schaumburg Park District

UPDATED PROCEDURE: Reserve your Meineke Pool time slot by registering through our activity registration portal.

On Friday, July 10, Meineke Pool will open for public swim with strict safety measures in place, including:

Admission will only be available in 1.5-hour time slots and will be closed for 30 minutes between each time slot for staff to disinfect high touch points and all railings.
Masks will be required when entering and exiting the facility but are not required when participating in swimming activities.
Deck chairs are not available, please bring your own chair.
Diving boards are closed.
The splash pad is closed.
Locker rooms are available for changing only. Showers and lockers will not be available.
Outside pool toys are not permitted.
Life jackets will not be available for rental. Personal Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be brought in.
Per Illinois Department of Public Health Guidelines, please maintain 6 ft. of distance from non-family members.
If you are sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please DO NOT ENTER any Schaumburg Park District facility.

Admission Options:
Due to capacity restrictions and enhanced safety protocols, admission will only be available in 1.5-hour time slots by reservation only. Admission is only available to Schaumburg Park District residents. Two admission options will be available:

General Admission: Includes access to a large roped-off swim area and the flume slide. Admission is $5 per person and will be limited to 50 guests per 1.5-hour slot.
Pod Admission: Guests may purchase one of four roped-off sections that only their family/guests will be permitted to swim in. Pod admission is $40 per pod for a 1.5-hour time slot, with a maximum of 10 individuals per pod.

Online reservations are available two days in advance of the reservation date. For example, online reservations for this Friday will be available starting Wednesday. Reservations may also be made by calling 847-985-2143.

Hours:
Hours for public swim will be Monday-Friday, noon-8:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Due to the evolving guidelines and restrictions, hours, admission and rules are subject to change. Please note that Bock Pool and Atcher Island will remain closed for the 2020 season.

Meineke Pool is now also open for lap swim from 6-8 a.m. and 11 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday. Cost is $8. Reservations are required and are available here (must be made the day prior). For day-of reservations, call 847-985-2143.
