Families will enjoy a Halloween-themed musical performance, pumpkins and more at Schaumburg Park District’s Halloween Spooktacular.
The event is set for Oct. 16-18 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. There will be two different time slots each day for families to choose from.
Guests will receive 3D glasses, one pumpkin with decorating supplies per group, goody bags for the children, and photo opportunities with popular characters.
“The CRC gym will be transformed into a festive, family-friendly party, ”said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. “Children and parents are invited to wear their costumes for the chance to win great prizes in our costume contest.”
All guests will need to wear face coverings the entire time they are in the facility and during the event.
Seating will consist of pods that will accommodate up to four guests with social distancing in mind. The cost of a pod of four seats is $48. Pods may be reserved at parkfun.com and tickets may be picked up at Will Call the day of the performance. No refunds or exchanges.
