Sugar Bush Fair is our beloved celebration of spring and the time-honored tradition of maple sugaring! Discover how Native Americans of the eastern woodlands introduced the art of maple syrup making, and see the process in action. A wagon shuttle will be available to transport guests between the breakfast area and the Nature Center. Admission to the Sugar Bush Fair and all related activities is FREE!

Enjoy a hearty breakfast under a large enclosed tent on the grounds of Merkle Cabin, a short walk from the Nature Center. Breakfast features fluffy pancakes, savory sausage, beverages and real maple syrup! Gluten-free pancakes and vegetarian sausage are available upon request at the event. Advance breakfast tickets are $7.50 (available online until noon on Friday, March 14). Day-of breakfast tickets (if available) will be $9 (sold until 11:30 a.m.).
Admission to the fair and demonstrations is free. Parking is available at the Nature Center and at St. Matthew Church, with easy access to the event site. A wagon shuttle will be available to transport guests between the breakfast area and the Nature Center. For more info, call 847-985-2100.
