Spend your spring break with Schaumburg Park District! Spring break for District 54 begins at the end of day, Friday, March 21 and school resumes Wednesday, April 2.

Open Swim

The Water Works will observe special spring break hours and will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Monday, March 24 to Friday, March 28. Please call 847-490-2505 to check on capacity.

All-Day Camp

SPD Spring Break Camp Ages: 5-12y (Enrollment ends March 8 at 11:59 p.m.)

Created specifically for grades K-6, this camp gives families a safe, fun-filled all-day care option over spring break. Camp includes various indoor and outdoor recreation activities (dress appropriately), arts and crafts, sports, free play, field trips and swimming at The Water Works! KASPER staff will guide campers in both structured and unstructured activities.

Spring Break Basketball Camp Ages: 7-12y

Baseball

Mini Masher Baseball Camp Ages: 4-7y

Mini athletes will become mighty baseball pros! In this camp, young players will learn the basics of baseball, including base running, player positions, catching and throwing—while our coaches inspire everyone to reach their full potential. Grab your gear and join the fun! Instructor: We Got Game

Baseball/Softball Combo Camp Ages 7-13y

Players will sharpen foundational skills and master advanced techniques, including base running, fielding, hitting, catching fly balls, and more. Our supportive coaches are here to motivate and guide everyone to achieve their full potential. Grab your glove, bat, and gear—it’s time to hit the field for some baseball or softball fun! Spring Break Flag Football Camp Ages: 7-12y

Enjoy a fun and exciting experience designed for all skill levels. Master basic skills and learn the advanced ones, too! We’ll cover special teams, defense, gameplay and more. Instructor: We Got Game

Gymnastics

Spring Break Gymnastics Camp Ages: 4-14y

Enjoy two days of age-appropriate group activity. Tumbling, bars, beam, vault, pommel horse and pit are included. Children may be divided according to age, skill level and/or gender.

Spring Break Gymnastics Ninjas Ages: 6-12y

Develop balance, coordination, strength and motor skills through challenging obstacle training. These courses will teach spatial awareness and strengthen agility through basic gymnastics skills, swinging/jumping movement and hand-eye coordination exercises.

Multi-Sport

Tots & Minis High-Energy Sports Camp Ages: 3-5y

Is your athlete ready to try multiple sports? This camp offers fun drills, beginner-friendly games and supportive coaching to help players develop skills, boost confidence and foster a love for staying active—all while making new friends! Instructor: We Got Game

Soccer

Beginner Skills & Drills Soccer Camp Ages: 5-7y

Establish your soccer footing and score some goals This camp focuses on learning the basic skills of soccer, combined with fun drills to put them into practice. Perfect for players looking to gain their confidence, passion and love for the game! Instructor: We Got Game

Rookie Skills & Scrimmage Soccer Camp Ages: 8-12y

Let’s have a ball while building your soccer foundation! This camp develops essential skills through fun scrimmages to help players boost their confidence, improve their performance and deepen their love for the game. Instructor: We Got Game

Track & Field

Spring Break Track & Field Camp Ages: 7-12y

This fun class is designed for all skill levels! Participate in various track and field events, including long-distance running and field games. We’ll run the 100m, 200m, 400m and the mile. Instructor: We Got Game

Dance

Paw Patrol Dance Camp Ages: 3-5y

No job is too big, no pup is too small for this totally paw-some spring break camp! The team is ready to save the day! Dress in comfortable clothes and dance shoes—no experience necessary. The camp will end with a short performance on the last day. Instructor: Margaret Palmer

Moana Dance Camp Ages: 4-7y

Campers will wander beyond the reef to find new worlds through dance, storytelling, crafts and creative games that unlock your voyager's imagination. Dance with us, and there’s no telling how far you’ll go! Dress in comfortable clothes and dance shoes—no experience necessary. The camp will end with a short performance on the last day. Barbie Dance Camp Ages: 5-9y

Embrace the glamour and excitement of Barbie as you twirl and spin through a week filled with dazzling dance moves. Wear dance shoes and channel your inner fashionista by dressing up as your favorite Barbie character. There will be a short performance on the last day of class. Instructor: Margaret Palmer

Swifty Dance Camp Ages: 7-12y

Shake it off in our Taylor Swift-inspired dance camp and dance through all the iconic eras! Dress in comfortable clothes and dance shoes. There will be a short performance on the last day of class. Instructor: Kayla Kuhajda

Burn the Floor Hip Hop Dance Camp Ages: 8y+

Learn hip hop basics, including popping, locking and break dancing, while moving to your favorite tunes. This is a high-energy camp that emphasizes rhythm, style and personal expression through freestyle dance battles and funky choreography. No previous dance experience is needed. Dress in comfortable clothes and clean shoes. There will be a short performance on the last day of class. Instructor: Kayla Kuhajda

Wicked Theater and Dance Camp Ages: 9-14y

"You're gonna be pop-u-lar" when you join this camp inspired by the hit Broadway musical, Wicked! While focusing on themes of friendship, identity, good and evil, and acceptance, campers will expand their imaginations as they play drama games, learn dance numbers and hone their performance skills. Dress in comfortable clothes and dance shoes. The camp ends with an informal performance inviting parents to "defy gravity"! Instructor: Margaret Palmer

Student Choreography and Improv Dance Camp Ages: 10y+

Develop your creative skills and explore storytelling through dance! Dancers will learn exercises that help them bring their own stories to life through movement. If you are looking to explore a new aspect of your artistry, this camp is for you! No previous experience is required, just come wearing comfortable clothes and clean shoes. Early Childhood

Babies and Tots Open Play Ages: 3m-4y with Adult

This drop-in class offers a mix of group activities and independent exploration, giving your child the chance to laugh, learn and play. In our semi-structured, fun-filled environment, children will develop important skills while having a great time!

Lil’ Farmers Veggie Patch Party Ages: 3.5-6y (waitlist is open)

Our little farmers will get their gardens ready and learn about growing food through songs, stories, games, crafts, sensory play and more! We will try some fresh veggie snacks and pot our seedlings to take home.

Toddler Spring Break Theater Camp Ages: 3.5y-6y

Does your child love dancing, singing and acting? Well this is the perfect class! Join us for this 2-day spring break theater camp. We will do team building exercises, lots of dancing, and a short performance on the last day. Please arrive 15 minutes before class ends for the performance.

General Interest

Chess Camp Ages: 5-12y

Each class consists of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Research shows a strong link between chess and academic performance in various areas, including mathematics and language arts, and has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills and creativity. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome. Instructor: Chess Scholars

Spring Valley

Spring Valley Spring Break Camp Ages: 7-12y (waitlist is open)

As spring approaches and the days become a little warmer, spend time exploring the trails, looking for signs of animals, cooking over a fire, and much more. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a water bottle and sack lunch. Meet at the Nature Center.
