The Water Works is located inside the Community Recreation Center. Our splashtastic indoor water park offers fun and excitement for the entire family!

Hours of Operation

Open Swim:

Special hours on Dec. 23, Dec. 26-30 and Jan. 2-3 are 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Special hours on Dec. 31 are 12 p.m.-4:30 p.m. There is no open swim on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.

• Wed: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• Fri.: 4-8 p.m.
• Sat. & Sun.: 12 p.m.-5 p.m.

‍Lap Swim:

• Mon.-Fri.: 5:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. There are special hours on the following dates: Dec. 24 (6 a.m.-3 p.m.), Dec. 25 (6 a.m.-12 p.m.), Dec. 31 (6 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Jan. 1 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.).‍
• Sat. & Sun.: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

Daily Fees

Open Swim:

• Residents: $10 per person
• Non-Residents: $14 per person
• Children 2 and younger are free

Lap Swim:

• Resident Adult: $8
• Resident Youth: $6
• Non-Resident Adult: $10
• Non-Resident Youth: $8

Important Information:

• Patrons must be 42 inches to ride the flume body slides and 48 inches to ride the drop slide.
• Lap swim patrons must be 18 years or older, unless approved by the Aquatics Supervisor.
• Closing time may change due to private rentals.
• Bring valid photo ID.
• Call 847-490-2505 for a current schedule.
• Non-swimming guests pay entrance fee.
• Children 8 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian at least 16 years old. Children may not be left unattended on the pool deck or in concessions.

Pool passes are available for The Water Works. Passes may be purchased at Meineke Recreation Center and Community Recreation Center.

*Families consist of individual, spouse and their unmarried children 17 years and younger residing in the same address, unmarried children through age 23 who are full-time students and unmarried children who are permanently disabled.

Rentals

Rentals will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 6-9 p.m. Prices begin at $300 for one pool. Additional pools may be added to the rental for an extra cost. All rentals are private and will be limited to 300 people.
