Park St. Claire Conservation Area

Located just north of Schaumburg Road and Spring Valley, and west of National Parkway, Park St. Claire consists of over 30 acres of wetlands straddling the West Branch of Salt Creek.

The site includes planted prairies and on-going floodplain restoration activities. A paved bike and walking trail winds through the site, connecting Thacker Drive to Schaumburg Road. Just east of the site is Russ Parker Park, which contains additional wetlands, a playground, picnic gazebo and active recreation areas.
