Teens - The Party's Here! - TPH

The Party's Here (TPH) is a safe, supervised, action-packed program held one Friday each month from September through May for seventh- and eighth-grade students of District 54 and area parochial schools at the Community Recreation Center. Program follows the School District 54 school year.

  • Oct. 4 - Halloween Frenzy (Dress in your favorite costume)
  • Nov. 1 - Pajama Party (Wear your favorite PJs)
  • Dec. 6 - No Theme
  • Jan. 10 - Sports Mania (Wear your favorite sports jersey)
  • Feb. 7 - Valentine's Day Special (Wear something red)
  • March 7 - St. Patrick's Day Fun (Wear something green)
  • April 4 - Caribbean Party (Put on your flip flops and a tropical shirt)
  • May 2 - Dress to Impress (It's the last event, so get dressed up)

Event Fees & Pass Information

Those attending TPH must purchase a pass which includes a photo ID and number of events. This pass must be brought to every TPH event. No one is admitted without this official event/photo ID! All participants, with a parent/guardian, must complete and sign a membership application prior to participating in any TPH event.

Purchase a pass now to attend one or all of these fun-filled Fridays. New attendees must purchase an ID card for events. ID cards from last year may be reused. Fee includes a TPH photo ID. Event passes are valid only for current school year.

  • Full-Season Pass: $63
  • Six-Event Pass: $48
  • Three-Event Pass: $30
  • One-Event Pass & Photo ID: $24*
  • One-Event Pass: $12**
*This allows entrance to one event and includes the card and Photo ID.

** This is for those that already have a Photo ID and just want to add one event to their card.

Snacks and soda are available for purchase.

Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the savings when purchasing a package. Daily event and photo IDs are a one-event option. Cards are $12 and photo IDs are $12.

An event pass and photo ID may be purchased at:

  • Bock Neighborhood Center: 9AM to 5PM, Monday - Friday and 9AM to noon on Saturday.
  • Meineke Recreation Center: Until 9:30PM daily.
  • Community Recreation Center: Until 9PM daily.


Renewal /Replacement: You may add additional TPH events onto your card up until the Thursday before TPH. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you lose your pass but still have events on it, you may pay $10 for a replacement card. Replacement cards may be purchased at any time, including the day of TPH, up until 5PM at any facility. Your name will be checked in the computer to see if you still have events left on your card.

New Passes: If you were a seventh-grader last year and purchased a new photo ID, you may have your events updated on that card. New seventh-graders must purchase a new card for events.


A parent or guardian must escort their child into the building through the south entrance where you will wait with him or her to be scanned and signed in. Carpooling is encouraged! When it’s pickup time, designate an area to meet your child and remember to sign them out before exiting through the north entrance.

Dress Code

TPH dress code follows the District 54 dress code. There will be a list outlining what will be allowed and not allowed posted at the TPH event site. Those not following dress code will be asked to change.
