Bock Neighborhood Center offers many great birthday party options. Parties may be booked on Saturdays and Sundays. Friday parties are available upon request and building availability. All parties are two hours (except cake decorating party which is 90 minutes) and must be booked two weeks prior to party date.
Bock Neighborhood Center also offers outdoor pool parties during the summer.

Pirate Party
Ahoy matey! Come celebrate your birthday pirate style. First hour includes themed staff-led games and crafts. Activities include making a pirate sword and flag as well as fun games such as X marks the spot, cannon pop and musical islands. Second hour is set aside for pizza and opening presents. Pizza, drinks and paperware are provided. Parent provides dessert. For ages 5-8 years old.
- Fee: $120 for residents/$140 for non-residents for 10 guests ($10 each additional child, max. 16 guests)
Cake Decorating Party
Party guests will enjoy decorating their own cake and cake box to take home. Party includes cake, cake decorations, drinks, candles, paperware and an apron for each party-goer to wear. This 90 minute party is as fun as it is delicious. Party is led by staff from “Party Cakes Party Cakes.” Visit them at

Hawaiian Luau Party
Enjoy a tropical birthday party! First hour includes themed staff-led games and crafts. Activities include making your own lei and luau bracelet, fun games such as hot coconut and a limbo contest! Second hour is set aside for pizza and opening presents. Pizza, drinks and paperware are provided. Parent provides dessert. For ages 5-8 years old.

Dinosaur Party
Welcome to Jurassic Bock! Celebrate your birthday and have a “dino-mite” time. First hour includes themed staff-led crafts including making a dinosaur hat and fun games such as Jurassic Bean Bags, Dino Feet Relay and Hot Brontosaurus Egg. Second hour is set aside for pizza and opening presents. Pizza, drinks and paperware are provided. Parent provides dessert. For ages 5-8 years old.

Outer Space Party
Blast off to Bock! Celebrate your birthday in the outer reaches of the galaxy. First hour includes themed staff-led crafts such as making an alien mask and fun games such as Musical Planet, Pass the Sun and Pin the Astronaut on the Moon. Second hour is set aside for pizza and opening presents. Pizza, drinks and paperware are provided. Parent provides dessert. For ages 5-8 years old.

Pixie Dust Party
Become a fairy for a day! First hour includes themed staff-led crafts such as decorating pixie wings and a fairy wand, and playing fun games.Second hour is set aside for pizza and opening presents. Pizza, drinks and paperware are provided. Parent provides dessert. For ages 5-8 years old.

LEGO® Robotics Party
Enjoy a fun birthday party with LEGO® Mindstorms Robots! Learn to build and program a LEGO® Mindstorms robot and watch it respond to commands and perform tasks. Participants will work in pairs for the first 75 minutes on their robots. The final 45 minutes will be spent enjoying drinks and dessert and opening gifts. Parent provides dessert. Drinks and paperware are provided. Party is presented by Program to Learn, Inc. staff and a Park District party host. LEGO® Robotics Parties may be scheduled from 4-7PM on Saturdays and 1-7PM on Sundays. Participants do not bring home the robot/computer. For ages 8-13 years old.
