Laugh, sing and experience magic with your favorite nanny as Schaumburg Park District’s Putting on Productions presents “Mary Poppins Jr.”
Mary Poppins Jr. will be performed Nov. 16-18 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
Set in London in the early 1900s, Mary Poppins is a nanny unlike any other. Through music and magical adventures, she teaches two young children, Jane and Michael, valuable life lessons.
“Choosing Mary Poppins Jr. as our next performance was an easy choice,” said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. “The energy in this musical is contagious. With the incredible storyline, songs and dance numbers, you’re sure to leave the performance with a song in your heart and pep in your step!”

- 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17
- 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17
- 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18
Mary Poppins Jr. is a one and a half hour long performance with a ten-minute intermission.
“In addition to the performance, we are excited to offer guests the option to purchase tickets online,” Waller said.
Tickets are $12.50 for adults ages 13 and older and $7.50 for youth ages 13 and younger. Cost is free for ages 2 and younger if being held.
