Mar 01, 2019

Swim, play and explore at Schaumburg Park District Spring Break Camps.

A variety of Spring Break Camps are available March 25-29 for children ages 5 to 13 years old.

One of the most popular camps offered is the full-day So Cool Spring Break Camp at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

“It’s important for children to stay active and engaged even when they’re not in school,” said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program coordinator. “We offer several different camps while kids are on spring break, including a full-day camp which is a great option for working parents.”

Spring Break Camps include:

  • So Cool Spring Break Camp, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 25-29 at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way (ages 6-11). Registration is available for individual days or the entire spring break.
  • Chess Scholars Spring Break Chess Camp, 9 a.m.-noon, March 25-29 at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane (ages 5-12).
